First bit of news the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is being shelled by Russia as I speak. There is already a fire on the site. The nuclear plant itself has of course already been shut down, and a disaster like Chernobyl is unlikely, but this is incredibly dangerous by Russia. I just realised I hadn’t yet made a statement on Ukraine here. To be clear, I fully support Ukraine in every respect. Russia need to be stopped, and this is a dangerous escalation that is leading to tragedy and heartbreak for so many people, both in Ukraine and Russia.
