I just realised I hadn’t yet made a statement on Ukraine here. To be clear, I fully support Ukraine in every respect. Russia need to be stopped, and this is a dangerous escalation that is leading to tragedy and heartbreak for so many people, both in Ukraine and Russia.

The spirit shown by Ukraine has been phenomenal and I truly hope that they manage to defeat the Russian invaders. Honestly the most likely scenario for their victory, or at least a victory of sorts, is internal strife in Russia halts the Russian advance forcing the Russians to retreat to a position they can hold with more ease. Essentially I think it highly likely that when this is slightly more settled big chunks of Ukraine will remain in Russian hands.
