I believe that one way to achieve a peaceful civilization is to educate people about the nature of conflict and the psychology of those who generate conflict as a means to generate wealth from their relationship with the community.

I developed the hypothesis of predatory leadership after asking the question, “Why is it that over and over again the worst possible people often become our leaders?”

In the process of researching this question, I earned a degree in criminal psychology. I focused on the neurology of those who cause harm to others in the course of satiating their lust and greed. To some extent, I found that one difference between predators and nurturers involves the relationship between the amygdala and the forebrain.

    • I think “predatory leadership” is excellent terminology. I currently live in Vietnam where an unfortunately large number of the managers and business owners fit this description. That being said I do think the culture and understanding of the issue is evolving rapidly here, and improving quickly.
